3M™ 8919 Strapping Tape combines a 7 mil clear polyester backing with a synthetic rubber adhesive to deliver high tensile strength and low stretch in a 3/4 inch wide format. The low-stretch film holds loaded bundles firmly in place, resisting the creep and slack that softer backing materials can develop under sustained tension.
This tape is well-suited for bundling components on production lines, reinforcing packaging closures, securing flat stock such as extrusions or sheet goods, and unitizing palletized outbound shipments. Manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, and industrial warehouses rely on it where tape must hold through handling, transit vibration, and variable environmental conditions.
The polyester backing resists moisture, abrasion, and scuffing, and the synthetic rubber adhesive bonds firmly to most surfaces. Each case contains 12 rolls at 60 yards per roll, totaling 720 yards. Cases ship via parcel carrier.
