3M™ 8919 is a 7 mil strapping tape built with a clear polyester backing and synthetic rubber adhesive, combining high initial tack with low elongation under load — a pairing that holds tension without creeping during transit or storage.
The tape is suited for bundling, reinforcing, and unitizing in warehousing, manufacturing, and distribution environments. Its resistance to moisture, abrasion, and scuffing makes it reliable across multi-stop handling chains, and it releases cleanly without staining most finished surfaces when removal is needed.
The 1-inch width works well for securing components, reinforcing corrugated cartons, and strapping irregular loads where a narrower profile is preferred. Each case contains 36 rolls and ships via parcel carrier.
