Description

These 1/2" diameter Kapton® discs are die-cut from 1 mil polyimide film and coated with a silicone adhesive designed for high-temperature masking. Kapton® polyimide film delivers exceptional thermal stability, maintaining performance up to 500°F (260°C) while conforming precisely to small surface areas that require spot masking.

Typical applications include wave soldering masking, powder coat masking, transformer production, and automotive component manufacturing. Electronics assembly and industrial finishing operations rely on these discs wherever a heat-resistant, accurately sized mask is needed to protect a specific point or contact during thermal processing.

Each roll contains 1,000 discs supplied on a release liner wound on a standard 3" core, supporting both manual peeling and automated dispensing. The silicone adhesive bonds securely during processing and releases cleanly after use. Each roll ships via parcel carrier.
