3M™ 4930 VHB™ (Very High Bond) Tape is a 25 mil white acrylic foam tape with permanent acrylic adhesive on both sides, supplied on a kraft paper liner. Engineered as a structural fastening alternative, it replaces mechanical fasteners such as rivets, screws, bolts, and spot-welds in demanding assembly applications. UL746C listed.
This tape is used in transportation manufacturing, architectural panel assembly, signage fabrication, and industrial equipment production. The firm foam core conforms to surface irregularities while maintaining a load-bearing bond across metals, composites, plastics, and coated architectural substrates — indoors and outdoors alike.
