3M™ 4930 VHB™ (Very High Bond) Tape is a 25 mil white acrylic foam tape with dual-sided acrylic adhesive, measuring 3/4 inch wide by 5 yards long. The firm foam core creates a structural bond strong enough to replace mechanical fasteners — including rivets, screws, bolts, spot welds, and liquid adhesives — while leaving a clean, flush joint with no visible hardware.

This tape is well suited to metal panel bonding in vehicle body fabrication, architectural signage attachment, stiffener bonding, and industrial assembly where a permanent fastener-free joint is required. Its resistance to moisture, solvents, and UV exposure makes it equally reliable in indoor and outdoor installations.

Rated for continuous use from -40°F to 200°F, the tape meets UL746C requirements and ships with a kraft paper liner that protects the adhesive until the moment of application. Each roll is sold individually and ships via parcel carrier.
